The various construction methods are explained completely and no existing knowledge is assumedOne of the most valuable aspects of this book is the way he walks the reader through setting up a pond so it will balance naturally, without expensive pumps and filters, thus allowing a minimal expenditure of money for maximum pond enjoyment.
After six years, I still refer back to this book frequently for trouble shooting, cleaning schedules, and planting ideas.
