Book Reviews of Practical IntuitionBook Review: This is it. This is the best book on intuition. It's amazing. Summary: 5 Stars
This book is the only one you will need to develop your intuition. It's the best. You can read other ones if you enjoy the topic, but if you have a limited time, this is it.
It's not a theoretical book. You find all the explanations you need in there, but even she wrote in the introduction that if pressed for time you can go direct to the exercises.
You need to do those if you are serious about developing your intuition. You also develop extra senses, like sensing the future or if some part of your body needs careful attention. She believes these are senses underdeveloped in the majority of people, but they are evolutionary. They are there to be developed when needed. Laura is an intelligent, caring woman. I am a better me after reading Practical Intuition. Thank you Laura.
Book Review: Focus your Thinking Summary: 4 Stars
I found the practical information on what intuition is and how to develop it very helpful. I also believe that the exercises helped me to develop more discipline and focus in thinking about problems and issues. While the book talks about stock choices, etc., I didn't think it made false promises. I came away thinking that this book was about learning and mental discipline. As a result of reading it, I am reading a few other books with exercises for the development of my intuitive ability. A reader will make a mistake thinking this is about "esp" or fortunetelling. It is about utilizing what you know and developing access to all the information we absorb every day.
Book Review: Not a How To Summary: 3 Stars
This is not a how to book, for that I'd recommed other books such as How To Do Psychic Readings Through Touch, Psychic Protection: Beginnings (Beginnings (Jackson, Tenn.).), Psychic Power: Young Person's School of Magic and Mystery (Young Person's School of Magic and Mystery, Vol. 2) and others.
This book is more for the beginners beginner and just knowing/understanding what intuition is.
Book Review: Practical is the Key Word Summary: 5 Stars
Everyone is born with intuitive ability that they can develop and harness to make life work for them - whether it is to be aware of good opportunities, bad people, or find out where you lost your keys ... intuition and intellect are the best bed fellows. Although it is a matter of debate ... psychic awareness is something much bigger than intuition. Everyone is intuitive but not all people are the bonafide psychic who can see across the realms of creation. Nonetheless, don't allow intuition to stay dormat. Don't get wacky and forget about magic. Harness your intuition and allow yourself to be focused to its constructive and practical uses in your life. You create your reality.
Book Review: Is it a con, or does she really believe this? Summary: 1 Stars
A how-to book for reading the future is a product that has had universal appeal for people. Since ancient times, people have sought to use various methods to gain an advantage, to know what others are thinking and what the future will hold. Unfortunately, there is no such thing as psychic abilities, and all the wishing and hoping in the world, and all the how-to books that one reads will not change that. Once people thought they could tell the future by reading the entrails of animals, and by judging how birds were flying. Now there are a whole new set of fantasies. One thing, though - at least this one doesn't claim to be speaking to the dead relatives of her fans.
