Book Review: A REACTION TO THE STATESQUE
Summary: 3 Stars

its..a good book..it tells alot about whats going on behind..the sences..however, there is alot of exageration..in it. the princess didnt distiguish..between..how women r treated between diffenrt places of saudi arabia. for ppl in te west..alhijaz area..have differnt ways..in dealing with those isuues..i mean..the relations between men and women..r more respectful. also, in Njad the young generation has changed alot..and what was happenening to the princess..was not general. c prince abdullah fo rexample. hes openminded young prince. the thing i really didnt like in the book is that cause of the stories happenend in her life, the princess got a negative rection from religion..and traditions.

...

If Sultana reads it, i would like to say that she was born to do such a thing, risking her own life, this woman is the most courageous on earth and her destiny was to shout to the world about what happens in foundamentalism countries that we all did not know. I believe that i was born for a mission too, and i do hope that i became part of your team, let's make these women have the right of being a person, untill they dont have the right of a born certificate or death certificate, our victory won't be finished!Sultana i am your fan !!! let's make a big team and we can start a revolution, it has already started with the first book!

Lots of Love

Book Review: Just when you thought it couldn't get better than "Princess"
Summary: 5 Stars

Jean Sasson has proven that sequels can be better. I thought "Princess" was one of the most riveting books I have ever read until I read Princess Sultana's Daughters! In this book we learn about Sultana's marriage to Kareem, her brother, Ali, still as devilish as ever, and the birth and lives of her children. We also learn several horrifying stories of the oppression of women in Saudi Arabia as well as other countries. We also go far deeper into the soul and being of Sultana and learn more about her strengths and weaknesses. I would definitely recommend this book even to those who have not yet read "Princess".

Book Review: Glad to be living in the United States
Summary: 5 Stars

I read the first book in this series called Princess. I immediately found the second book, the Princess Sultana's Daughters, and simply could not put it down. As with the first book, I was simply horrified that such sanctioned brutality happens today. There is such shame in the absolute barbarity of this culture, not only by the men but also by the mothers of helpless daughters. We take so much for granted in this country. Once you read this book, you will appreciate the freedom we have, as women, in the United States. I highly recommend this book. Don't start it before bed because you won't want to put it down to sleep!
