Book Review: Interesting TV Mystery Romance Novel

I really enjoy this book. Although it was a super slow read for me. It took me almost 2 weeks to finish. Normally it takes me 4 days so you can see I was struggling with it a little bit. It's not that it's not interesting. It's very good but it just took me a long time to finish.
Deanna and Angela's competition for daytime talkshow was really interesting. And the way Angela is suppose to be the "bad guy" in this case, "bad girl" was great. She comes off as really mean and confident. But deep inside, she was a very insecure girl. The love story between Deanna and Finn was romantic enough. With Deanna's skeleton's in the closet, Finn comes off as a very understanding person. It's a very adult relationship that actually takes time to develop. Not the love at first sight and go straight to bed and fall in love romance.
Overall, it's a good ADULT read. It was well written and not over the top sex scenes. It does drag in some places but it depends on if you are interested in the making of TV talkshow and the TV business. Since I'm not in the TV business, it was rather interesting to read. Although it might not be real, that's why it's FICTION. I do recommend this to anyone who is looking for something romantic, with a little bit of kick and a little dark. But the most important part is......its a happy ending! ^^
