Book Reviews of Protect and Defend: A ThrillerBook Review: Protect and Defend Summary: 5 Stars
Vince Flynn's new book keeps pace with his previous Mitch Rapp novels. It grabs you early on and keeps the action going. We now see that Rapp is capable of almost anything to protect the people and the country he loves. I strongly suggest this book to anyone who likes action, fast-paced narrative, and high octane thrills.
For those of you who like Flynn, I suggest Hostile Intent by James Allen. This man writes excellent political thrillers that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Hostile Intent
Book Review: Mitch Rapp Rocks! Summary: 5 Stars
I've read all of Flynn's Mitch Rapp thrillers and they are excellent. They are gritty, real-life characters that tell it like it is. As a fellow author of thrillers, I appreciate his attention to detail and his exhaustive research. He teaches me how to write the genre. If you're concerned about Iran's nuclear threat, then you'll love this novel!

Book Review: Get Out of the Way Summary: 4 Stars
Vince Flynn continues to feed readers' fantasies by having Mitch Rapp make decisions (or force those with the highest authority to make decisions rather than seek the easy way out), by pointing out how power corrupts among those who serve high officials, by making terrorists a real threat to our nation and not merely a group that "needs to be understood," and by seeking retribution against those human beings who are truly evil. The episodes revolving around Director Irene Kennedy are especially exciting. I gave it four stars because I liked CONSENT TO KILL AND ACT OF TREASON even better.
Book Review: shallow and disappointing Summary: 1 Stars
I was so looking forward to this new book by Mr. Flynn... And was very disappointed. The Mitch Rapp we met in earlier books, his skills and insights, is missing from this effort. The nuance and detail that made the early Rapp books rewarding has been omitted or glossed over in a rush to cash in. It feels like this was pushed to the market to capitalize on the Iran political spin. Too bad. Mr. Flynn may lose quite a few readers with this shallow and predictable effort. Not worth a read. If you are new to the Mitch Rapp books, read the first few and enjoy them. Skip this one.
Book Review: J Summary: 5 Stars
Once again, Vince Flynn has created a masterpiece. Fast-paced, action-packed story that you cannot put down. I am always amazed at the knowledge one acquires when reading a Vince Flynn novel. One wonders what is next for the modern-day action hero, Mitch Rapp. Might he be getting a protege sometime soon? Another Mitch Rapp in training? He's not getting any younger!!!! If you want to be thoroughly entertained while learning a great deal about the Middle East and it's dark ages mentality, this novel is for you. Actually, all of Vince Flynn's novels become addictive!
