Book Reviews of Rachael Ray: Just In TimeBook Review: not my favorite Summary: 2 Stars
I got this cookbook when it first came out but I was disappointed after I flipped through it looking for new recipes. Some of the recipes have been featured in her magazine or in other cookbooks. Also, some recipes call for too many ingredients or expensive ingredients, such as saffron. And some of the recipes just don't seem too appetizing. Her 365:No repeats book and the express lane cookbook are much better than this.
Book Review: Cute gimicks, nothing to write home about Summary: 2 Stars
I think Rachael Ray has tried a bit too hard to cash in on her fame. These recipes are cutesy and gimicky but there was only 1 that sounded like anything I'd really ever try. She promotes these recipes as for everyday folks, but the techniques and ingredients are far fro everyday. Some are exotic and some are just weird!
Rachael Ray fans will enjoy its flavor, but everyone else will be disappointed.
Book Review: Sounds good but where are the pictures? Summary: 3 Stars
I love Rachael Ray, I watch all of her shows and I enjoy using her recipies but I was very disapointed in this book. It was the first R.R. book that I have purchased and even though the recipies are quite good I am the sort of cook who needs pictures of the food. There are no pictures! How do I know if I made it right?

my friend gave me this book because am a Rachael Ray fan i was happy at first but then disappointed somehow !!! there is no pics. for the recipes
and the recipes have weird names ... i actually didn't start cooking from the book ... it might be nice but this is the only thing i hated about this book is that it doesn't have any pics ...
Book Review: cannot wait to try the recipes Summary: 5 Stars
We bought this in time for the holidays and we cannot wait to try the recipes. The font size and color are very easy on the eyes and the recipes appear to be written so that any person, including me, can pick up a recipe and cook it. The only down side is that there are many lamb recipes, but I am sure that you can subsitute for lamb.
