Book Reviews of Recipe KeeperBook Review: Loved it!! Summary: 5 Stars
This was WAY BETTER than I realized it would be. It was bigger than I anticipated, and had more than I expected. I did read the details of it, but it was more than I thought it would be.....I am extremely happy with my purchase and it goes perfectly with my Itallian/ Chef kitchen theme that I have going on in here! This is something that I can pass down to my children when they want to know "How did Mom make that special dish that came from her head or that she got from Great-Grandma????"
It was exactly what I needed!
Book Review: Nice binder. Every thing else: phooey! Summary: 2 Stars
Hello! This is 2009! Where are the templates (Word AND Pages) for filling out the recipe forms? Otherwise, the forms provided are useless for we people with computers. Do you want to write all your recipes by hand onto a provided form printed in very feint yellow? Can you even read the provided forms? I can't.
The binder is attractive and I think the dividers are marginal (titles are very hard to read!). So, I'l buy some plastic jackets to house my computer-printed recipes. Live and learn.
Book Review: Great place to keep recipes! Summary: 5 Stars
This recipe book is great for keeping and organized recipes that you clip from magazines, get from other people or get off the internet. There are pockets, sticky pages (like in a photo album) and pages that you can write recipes on (I made a template on my computer so I could type them and print them out). It would be great if there was a premade template on the website you can buy the refill pages on but I guess you can't have everything! Overall, this is a pretty cool little recipe keeper!
Book Review: Love It! Summary: 4 Stars
This is exactly what I wanted. I ordered one for me and one for my sister for Christmas. The fill-in sheets are great for my favorite recipes, and the adhesive sheets and pockets are perfect for the recipes I am waiting to try out. I am not crazy about my handwriting, so I created a Word template for the fill-in sheets. I would have liked more sheets included with the binder, but I ordered more and they were very reasonable. I would order this again and again...
Book Review: Happy with it for most part Summary: 4 Stars
I really like it, however, I took out the recipe inserts because they take up too much room. I used my own plastic sleeves which gave me room for many many more recipes. Actually, I wish it was the size of a 3 inch-3 ring binder. Heck, maybe I just have too many recipes. LOL I know it sounds like I'm not happy with it, but I am. I just made changes. I did order one for our daughter when I ordered mine and just recently ordered one for my sister.
