Book Review: Dangerous book

I think Myles Munroe had some good points in this book. I love the emphasis of the Kingdom of God and that we are citizens of it not citizens of this earth but I still believe this man to be very man centered and is preaching a dangerous and may I add damnable gospel. He is another seeker sensitive preacher with a man centered gospel. Give man power and dominion is his emphasis. It is funny to me that Paul never specifically said He preaches the gospel of the "kingdom" though He did talk about the Kingdom of God alot and we all should. Honestly He has his mind fit on earthly things because not once did He talk about the cost of being made worthy to the Kingdom of God. That we must SUFFER ALOT in this life to enter it acts 14:22. He is another man centered preacher talking about health wealth prosperity and now dominance. We will not experience the fullness of the Kingdom now and God would have it so, so that we seek the new heaven new earth and not love this life now. We are to hate our lives in this life john 12:25. We are to deny ourselves and bear are crosses and preach the gospel and suffer for its sake. He has been influenced by His depravity and worldy consumer culture. Terrible book and I warn all my friends to stay clear from dominion theology. I could say more but dude doesn't understand the deep things of God.Book Review: Is T. Geffeney for REAL?????

Like others, I am appauled by T.Geffeney's post regarding Rediscovering the Kingdom. I don't get it- you read the first 5 pages and feel entitled to slander an anoited message of which you didn't even complete?
I'm not even halfway through the book and it has blessed my life TREMENDOUSLY! This book has helped to enhance my Bible study and gave me a thirst for the Word that I have never had. Praise God for Dr. Munroe!! I encourage all fellow believers (and non believers) to read this book TODAY.
Mr. Geffeney, I sincerely encourage you to search your heart and mind- and ask yourself "Am I reading this book as a critic or as a Christian?" Then reconsider completing the book without bias.
I seldom respond to or initiate posting my opinion on any forum, and while I respect your perspective- I am floored as to how you conjured such a negative post on such a POSITIVE, REASSURING, AND LIFE CHANGING piece of work. God bless you and please consider re-posting after you have completed the book.
Book Review: ONLY THE RELIGIOUS CONTINUE TO HATE THIS MESSAGE

IT IS AMAZING TO SEE HOW A RELIGIOUS SPIRIT IS EXPOSED WHE THIS TRUTH IS REVESLED. FOR THEY CAN NOT SEE WITH THEIR EYES OR HEAR WITH THEIR EARS AND IS CONCEALED FROM THEM. THIS IS THE ONE OF THE GREATEST BOOKS THAT WILL HELP ANY ONE TO UNDERSTAND THE TRUE PURPOSE OF JESUS CHRIST AND MANKIND. IT IS A GREAT GUIDE TO HELP NAVIGATE THE BIBLE WITH OUT THE RELIGIOUS YEAST. EVEN TODAY WHEN THIS MESSAGE OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS SPOKEN YOU WILL WITNESS RESISTANCE LIKE NEVER BEFORE.
I AM GRATEFUL TO THE LORD JESUS CHRIST FOR PASTOR MYLES MUNROE, I HAVE PERSONALLY ATTENDED HIS SEMINARS IN THE BAHAMAS AND ALL I CAN SAY IS DR. MUNROE IS ONE OF THE HUMBLEST MINISTER I HAVE MET SO FAR. ALL THE BOOKS THAT HE HAS PRODUCED ARE TRULY INSPIRED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT.
THE UNDERSTANDING OF THE MESSAGE OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD HAS TRANSFORMED MY THOUGHTS & MY LIFE AND I CAN NEVER BE THE WAY I USED TO BE. ENJOY IT AND BE BLESSED : )
Book Review: Excellent reading!

Hubby bribed me into reading this book by promising to rub my back every night until I finished it. Well, I started reading it and found the intro and 1st chapter BORING. Hubby advised me to skip to Chapter 2. I did and was hooked!
I went back to chapter 1 and am now 1/2 way through the book. Hubby is on his second reading already.
This book is life changing. You will never again view your relationship with God the same. Every Christian should read it as the truths in this book will strengthen you, give you new vision and direction.
Unfortunately, the church of Christ has spent too much time focusing on aspects of the Kingdom of God instead of the Kingdom as a whole. Once you understand the concept of the Kingdom, you have the keys to unlock success in every area of your life.
Book Review: Rebuttle of T. Geffeney's review.

I am also confused at T. Geffeney's review and am saddened by the manner in which he/she chose to present their view. For someone that states they are a "Christian Book Junky", you sure haven't learned much about what it is to be a Christian. To openly attack a fellow brother in Christ like you did in your review is shameful. Especially since, as you stated, you didn't even get past the 5th page of the first chapter. I have known many that have read this book and have been incredibly ministered to by it. A good friend of mine went into his office and did not come out for over 10 hours until he had finished it. I encourage people to get this book and enjoy.
