Book Reviews of Remember Me?

Book Review: "I wish I got off that couch and did what she's done" read
Summary: 4 Stars

Very positive fairy tale as always. I was travelling down the Nile and read "Remember me?" instead of bying women's magazines. Excellent substitute. There are many "he was dressed in this and she was dressed in that". A sort of "Devil wears Parada" concept of Cinderella turning into a Princess and then divorces the Prince. But in "Remember me?" Cinderella remarries.... another prince!

The plot brilliantly falls into the category of a "easy holiday women's read". The writing is great and gives you plenty of unexpected twists and turns, so you won't get bored. Requires no thinking but gives a lot of dreaming plots, like "I wish that happened to me". But not as good as shoppoholic.
Recommended for INFP types.

Book Review: A fun book to put a smile on your face
Summary: 4 Stars

This book was a lot of fun to read. Lexi was such a fun character who at first appears to have gotten the dream transformation. I know I always pictured myself losing two clothing sizes, having perfect teeth, a handsome husband and a career on the fast track. But this book really makes you think if that is what is most important. The relationship between Lexi and Eric was so dysfunctional it was funny and I was rooting for Jon the whole time. I'm glad Lexi ended up sticking it to all the jerks at her company in the end and only wish I could have seen their reaction after they found out what Lexi achieved. Definitely recommend this as a put a smile on your face read.

Book Review: Wonderfully Entertaining
Summary: 5 Stars

There have been many novels (and movies also) where people lose time and find themselves in a different body and/or a different person, but few are as fun as remember Me?

This time a woman wakes up three years after she lasts recalls being herself and is an entirely different person physically and her life has radically changed and seems rather perfect, or so it seems. She then begins to find and out and understand a bit more about the apparent perfection.

Highly entertaining and humorous novel that is perfect Chic Lit reading that is very enjoyable to read when you just need a break.

Highly recommended.

Book Review: Engaging and charming!
Summary: 4 Stars

A young woman wakes up in a hospital bed with no memory of the previous 3 years. The last thing that is fairly clear was getting drunk with friends after a day of disastrous occurences. When she looks in the mirror she wonders how she "suddenly" has perfect teeth, hair, and body? She find discovers thatmarried to a picture perfect husband, living in the perfect loft, with a dream job and a life she could never have done anything but dreamed of. On top of all that, all her best friends are strangely remote.
This is a fun, frivolous tale that is both engaging and charming! Sophie Kinsella never disappoints!

Book Review: Been Done But Still Is Fun
Summary: 5 Stars

Though the theme is familiar (someone undergoing a transformation in personality because of something that happens, coupled with the ugly duckling transformation/underdog) the book still works because it so well presented and often has you laughing at parts.

In this book the catalyst is Lexi being injured and waking up a couple of years later to find everything has changed, family, friends and her looks. No longer an ugly duckling she is now pretty.

Of course she needs to try to figure everything out, bth who she was and what she is now. Great read in the genre and theme.
