Book Review: Change Your Life - read this book
Summary: 5 Stars

I had what I thought was a "sensitive stomach" for years. In the late 80's it got to where my stomach hurt when I ate and hurt when I didn't eat. I had a series of tests done and all they could say was that I had "nervous gas" and that I must be stressed. I knew there were certain foods I should avoid, so I did. Things did improve some. Then I started reading alot and over the years have adopted some or most of the ideas Brenda Watson recommends. Now I'm in my 40's and it seems everyone around me (including my dog) is suffering from some sort of digestive problem. I myself am much better now than when I was younger although still not perfect. Some people seem to be put off by the subject of digestion and elimination. Now I can just point them to this wonderful book. Well everyone, except my dog. I only have one small complaint about this book. I WISHED it had an index in the back. I'd give almost anything for an index.

Book Review: Excellent Practical Information
Summary: 5 Stars

As a chiropractor, my patients are always asking me about what kinds of cleanses are effective and safe. I really like the way Brenda Watson lays out her book. Her text is easy to read and is accompanied by helpful graphics. She presents diverse methods for cleansing and also relates them well to the maintenance of overall good health. I would highly recommend this book to anyone seeking to recover from the deleterious effects of long term digestive imbalance or who wishes to generally improve health. It is especially good for those who have experienced chronic infections accompanied by numerous rounds of antibiotics and the havoc they create in the body long term. The body knows how to heal once given the permission and the right tools. This book is a helpful tool.

Book Review: Everything you need to know about Digestion
Summary: 5 Stars

This book is the most comprehensive guide to digestive health available today. It covers digestive problems, weight control, detoxification diets, and cleansing programs in great detail, with specific remedies for particular digestive problems. Renew Your Life provides the in-depth solutions that Dr. Brenda Watson outlined in her PBS seminars, including lists of the symptoms each digestive problem commonly creates. Although most people resort to this level of medical education after feeling pain, this resource is a great value for anyone who wants to find out what to eat, what to avoid eating, and how to restore and maintain healthy balance to their digestive tract, and by doing that, restoring good mood, high energy, and robust health.

Book Review: Great Book! Easy To Understand!
Summary: 5 Stars

This book is an awesome contribution to the world of health care.
I have read it twice and find that it has really helped me to understand how poor digestive health begins and how the dwindling spiral of poor health feeds on itself.

If you have ever suffered from any digestive ailment such as heartburn, indigestion, gas, bloating, constipation, ibs, candida, parasites or liver problems this is the book that can help you get back in control....naturally!

I think this book will be a classic in future years and would not be surprised if it was considered required reading for anyone pursuing a degree in nutrition.

You will learn a lot by reading this book!

Book Review: A handbook for digestive issues
Summary: 5 Stars

This book addresses anybody's digestive issues. I am a licensed nutritionist, and I will have each of my clients get this book and read it before coming to see me. It is full of graphs and diagrams, as in a text book, but reads in a very clear, organized and informed manner. Most statements are referenced so you know the author didn't just inject her opinion. The only thing I disagree on is her position that it is not good to remain a vegetarian all one's life. But at least she backed up that viewpoint with a reference. Maybe she'll change her mind some day. Great book.
