If you are expecting a detailed description of John Edwards' problems, you are in for quite a surprise. Rather, Elizabeth Edwards details how remarkable she has been throughout her life facing adversity after adversity. I found myself using the highlighter on almost every page so that I could go back and re-read her comments. As a recent widow (less than a year), I found the challenges in her life and the ways she faced each adversity and came out on top, to be an attitude to emulate. Great reading, great writing, great lessons.
