Book Review: Deltora Quest takes a turn for the awesome
Summary: 5 Stars

It was when I was in 5th grade when I discovered Deltora Quest. It was actually one of those book order deals, where if you buy 5 books you get 1 book under 7 bucks free, or something like that, so I chose a combo pack of the last three books of the series. Maze of The Beast was good with all the original characters and creatures, but I think I felt a little bit lost. But once I started reading Valley of The Lost, everything started making sense. VoTL was great, but I never expected the final book to be so amazing. The thing I loved about Return To Del was all the unexpected plot twists. The only thing I could possibly complain about is the lack of battles (but hey, I'm battle hungry type of guy.) I was a little sad after the series ended, but luckily a year later the next 3 books came out. I enjoyed reading all 11 even more, after knowing the whole story. Even now, (...) I love these books more than Harry Potter or The Lord of The Rings. Really, I can't recommend this book enough, but make sure you read the other books first. And, unless this is the only book missing from your collection, buy the second hardcover book, which has the last four books in the first series for the price of two. If you shop around, you can even get it for about $5. Again, this is a great book!

Book Review: A thrilling close to the first series of Deltora.
Summary: 5 Stars

This book is very exciting, full of surprises and ultimate adventure. As a trusted member of the Resistance, and apparent heir to the throne of Deltora, is kidnapped, Lief, Barda, Jasmine, and others must hurry to rescue him. But a surprise awaits them. The traitor they had feared was found - in Dain, the one they thought was the heir. Now they were in danger, many of the group were caught. As Doom's identity is finally discovered, they make another guess at the heir. When the true heir was discovered, I wasn't surprised. All through the books, I knew it had to be Lief. I kept thinking, "Maybe they waited until the babies were born and then switched them." Never once did I think Jarred was not Jarred, but Endon, and Endon was really Jarred. Surprises and twists in the story make sure you will not want to put this book down. I loved these books, and was delighted when I discovered that Emily Rodda, my favorite author after I read these books, wrote three more books, calling them the series Deltora Shadowlands.

Book Review: The thrilling conclusion to the Deltora Quest series.
Summary: 5 Stars

All seven gems of the Belt of Deltora have been found. But the Belt cannot defeat the Shadow Lord if the true heir to the throne is not located, and time is running out. The servants of the Shadow Lord are searching for them. Tora, the city they believed hid the heir, is mysteriously abandoned. False clues have been planted to lead them astray, and one of the people they trust may really be a traitor. Lief's parents remain in captivity, and he fears for their lives. But the most shocking revelation of all is about to come. Everything Lief, Barda, and Jasmine have ever believed is about to be challenged. In the final battle between good and evil, between light and darkness, only one side can win. Will they triumph, or will the Shadow Lord rule Deltora forever? This final book in the Deltora Quest series is full of twists, turns, surprises, action, and more, and is everything I hoped it would be.

Book Review: Deltora Quest 8
Summary: 4 Stars

This book was exceptional. although unlike all the other Deltora's, this one was a 'little' confusing. the ending was superb. leif turns out to be king, WOW! although towards the ending of the book I was a becoming a little baffled. The switch between charecters, Doom is Endon, but then turns out to be Jarred. 'Jarred' turns out to be Endon, that was a great surprise and all, but, it was confusing. All the creature's and poeple's names were.... interesting. Leif, i understand it is a Norwegian name, but come on. The name Endon is very enchanting in my oppinion. Jasmine is normal but still catchy. Barda is a name i've never heard of, but it was a cool name all the same. but my main point of this all is.... it was a great book, a little confusing at points, but it was a great book all the same. I loved it so much i'd read it again and again.

Book Review: A marvelous return!
Summary: 5 Stars

Having all seven gems, our three heroes are on their way home to announce the heir, with seven chosen ones to guide them. Each chosen one represents a gem and together thay are the belt. The last book is a confusing and long book. There are betrayals, secrets, mysteries and hopes. All beleifs will be clashed as loved ones will be killed, and all may be lost. But this powerful and beautiful world will show its triumph as they pass the lake of tears, and it's deaths as they pass the evil city of the rats.Lief, Barda and Jasmine have many ideas on who the true heir will be.They search all areas, up in trees and down in tunnels, and also in the imperial palace.Where hope will be lost, hope may be gained in this thrilling book. This book concluded the whole series extremely well, and for once I was truly satisfied.
