Book Review: Better than the rest
Summary: 5 Stars
This book is the finale of the series, and what a finale! When you get to the end of a series, there is usually a bit of disappointment, but not here. There are more twists than is believable, and a satisfying ending. Someone complained that there is no romance between Lief and Jasmine, but that isn't true at all, you just have to read between the lines. Read the last few pages carefully, and you'll see that there is.
It's a good thing the payoff is so large, because books 2 through 7 had the problem that they were all a bit too similar. And the first book had very few surprises at all, and was pretty typical for a fantasy novel.
All in all, an excellent conclusion that isn't as good as Harry Potter, but is still way better than most books in its genre.

This is a GREAT searies. I have ALL of the books exept this one witch is on its way in the mail right now. I loved the rest of the books and they keep getting better at they go. All my friends want to read the books from me so that just tells you how good they are lol. I cant wait for the next great book to come out I love the series SO much I cant belive its almost over. Along with this book here are some other books to look at. The Dark is Riseing, The Seventh thower series by garth nix (anouther one all my friends and I love), Hatchit, and Transall Saga, and Ever World. These are GREAT books and realy fun readers. I like books in seires like most of these are. but its fun to branch out and try some new things every now and again.Book Review: Return to Sanity

I bought these books once with my own money and could not put them down. My life was hectic I was scared and when "The Valley of the Lost" came out and I bought it I was even more scared. That's right I was addicted to Deltora Quest. And when I finished "The Valley of the Lost" I thought some thing was missing...I don't maybe it was the fact the Shadowlord was still there? And then it came the answer to my dreams and prayers: "The Return to Del". I danced I laughed, I threw a party that served sodas! And when I finally read it was the best book I'd ever read in my life. You'll laugh! You'll cry! You'll mostly cry! IN HAPPINESS!!!!!! All you Questaholics (the Skittish term for Deltora Quest lovers) will love it.Book Review: The Return to Del

I think The Return to Del was an excellent book. The author of the story is Emily Rodda.I've read others of the series. In my opinion I think it is better than those. The characters of the story are Leif, Barda, and Jasmine.They completed the Belt of Deltora and they had to return back to Del. When they got back to Del they had to battle an Ol. An Ol is a person who can change into anything they want. They started the battle. But you have to read the book to find out what happens next. I liked this book because I like fighting and the book had lots of fighting. I would recommend for the age group 8+.Book Review: deltora quest return to del

i think this is a good book its filled with adveturs and combat.
the main point in this book is to get all 8 gems and put them back on the belt and find the hier.there are 8 books but there are more colletions.the evil shadow lord cast a spell over deltora lief , jasmine and barda are trying to stop him the 8 gems were taken by the aka-babes they've been live for 500-1000 years.i think you should read this book if u like a advetures.
