We must unpack the baggage of the past and leave it on the bench or we will never finish strong. We must refuse to carry any besetting sin lest it weigh us down and slow our stride. We must untangle ourselves from the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh and the pride of life lest these lusts trip us up and prevent us from making forward progress. We have to lay aside the guilt of the past, the pressures of the present and the fear of the unknown future and run. We must run well. We must finish strong.
