Book Reviews of SAS Survival Guide Handbook (Collins Gem)Book Review: Limited Content Summary: 3 Stars
It's a good read. It covers the basics. I didn't expect the book to be the size of my palm, but it's content is enough for the average Joe. Now if you're being dropped into the Amazon jungle by yourself, then I wouldn't recommend it.
Book Review: Comprehensive Manual Summary: 5 Stars
This strong booklet is a well illustrated comprehensive manual of all the things you have learned as a boy scout. It concentrates on the essentials, is very useful and to the point. It helps to behave intelligently when outdoors.
Book Review: Excellent coverage Summary: 4 Stars
I wanted a manual for an emergency pack, and I got exactly what I was looking for: A general manual, with broad topic coverage, easy to understand. Also, the small size is easy to pack. I've ordered more for all my packs now.
Book Review: very good Summary: 5 Stars
seems complete, the color pics of plants & stuff are great, the only slight problem is he uses some idioms that are from england but considering were he is from, i have read & tried parts of this book, seem to work well
Book Review: Good To Have Summary: 5 Stars
If you're the outdoorsy type this is a great little book to have around. The small size makes it very easy to carry with you. A lot of useful information and just a neat book to have in this crazy world of ours.
