I love this book. It's essentially a great guidebook on how to start enjoying life, rather than stressing over the minute details that can be so stultifying if we allow them to dominate our thinking. Its chatty conversational style makes it an easy and fun read, which creates empathy with the author and an understanding of how his own, personal journey has made him such a great teacher and speaker. The engaging writing style takes the reader on a journey through some interesting life adventures, musings on intimate relationships and insights into the workings of the mind. It even has some powerful NLP exercises, just thrown in for good measure and explained in a way that makes it possible for even a novice to do them and gain immediate value.
It's, essentially, a very heart-warming and accessible documentary (easy on the eyes and soothing to the addled, over-stimulated mind) of the life and work of an NLP and communications master, philosopher; philanthropist and spiritual commentator, all rolled into one, grounded, funny, absurdly life-affirming read. A book that's bursting with rare intelligence and wit, captured affectionately in a readable, amiable volume. I couldn't put it down until I'd finished it and was smiling for days after!
