Book Reviews of Sex for One: The Joy of Selfloving

Book Review: A must read!
Summary: 5 Stars

Betty Dodson's positive attitude and comfort with her body permeates every aspect of this book. With encouragement and clarity, she offers women the permission and direction so long overdue. It's about time an act so human and life-affirming has gotten the validation it deserves. I recommend it regularly to my psychotherapy clients, male and female. Thank you, Betty.

Book Review: Yes! Yes! Yes!
Summary: 5 Stars

The world has been waiting for a book like this. Betty opened up new dimensions for me loving myself. This is a spiritual book. I learned how to raise my self esteem and get rid of migraine headaches using masturbation! I don't feel weird about my body, i love myself and am less critical of others. betty is so funny! i love her!

Book Review: The Big "O" = Overrated
Summary: 1 Stars

From a male's perspective, I found this book to be nothing more than the poor man's version of "Prince Of Tides." Sure I was able to climax with the help of this book, but heck, I can do that even with a strong wind from the south. My advice, buy a dildo, vaseline and Jack Daniels and call it a night.

Book Review: Truly mind-expanding
Summary: 5 Stars

Dodson's book stands out in a field clogged with sex manuals which overstress partnered sex. It is difficult to be a good lover to a partner without an intimate understanding of one's own desires, likes, dislikes, gray areas, fantasies, and physiologies. As a sex educator, I highly recommend this text.

Book Review: Thank you!
Summary: 5 Stars

As someone who has only recently begun to explore her sexuality, I appreciated Ms. Dodson's candor and sensitivity in this book. She states things clearly, both in words and pictures, and seems to realize that the topic is a sensitive one. This is a book that I am very pleased to have in my library!
