Book Reviews of Slang O' The DayBook Review: Slang o' Make me some money Summary: 1 Stars
Slang o' the day is obviously an example of "let's make an instant book with using Google and make a profit" -- it lists many words that are not slang, they are regional dialect, it lists words that are not "o' the day" but which have been around for decades, and there is absolutely no discussion of their sociolinguistic context. Anyone can troll the Internet and collect slang items from different parts of the English-speaking world. If you want to pay someone to do this for you, fine. Otherwise, don't waste your money, like I did
Eric Partridge III
