Book Review: Good read....
Summary: 4 Stars
This book has multiple plots with multiple narrators that will keep you intrigued. EJD does a very good job of trying to prevent the reader from getting confused about the narrator of each plot in the way that he emboldens the chapters and subchapters. This book has a few characters from two previous novels (Thieves' Paradise and Driving Me Crazy). But, I don't think you need to read those stories to know what's going on in this particular book. It just sets a certain familiarity for you as the reader with these characters in mind. That being said, it will be necessary for you, however, to read this book (Sleeping with Strangers) before reading the rest of his trilogy, which includes Waking with the Enemy and Dying for Revenge. Toward the end of this book, EJD even writes and urges readers to be aware of the latter fact, so don't say he (we) didn't tell ya!;) Anyway, I really enjoyed reading this story. It was exciting, dangerous, racy, and sexy, with some hints of humour, all good elements to EJD's books. And, as if those aren't enough, there's even multiple elements of surprise; twists and turns that will captivate you and keep you turning those pages. In my eyes, that's what makes a really good book. Thanks EJD! I'm looking forward to reading Parts II & III in this trilogy. (I would've given the book a 5 star rating, but there were several typos that annoyed me throughout the book. His editor needs to do a better job proofreading his stories before actually publishing it. Thank you!)
