Book Review: One Month Done, So Far So Good

It's hard to review a CD that's supposed to help you learn a language. After all, you're also reviewing yourself in a way.
But after a month, I am pleased.
It's made my drives in the car more productive, and I've learned a few new phrases. I'm still on CD #1, but I am being thorough.
One reviewer said that the pauses on this CD give you time to form a correct reply. That's perfectly correct, and a helpful learning feature.
Hearing a woman speak and then a man speak, adds variety.
Hearing isn't the same as reading though. You will learn better if you read the section you are currently hearing, from time to time. Reading the simple phrasebook re-enforces your hearing the same phrases.
All in all, I find the CD useful. My drive time is better spent, and it's part of my routine. I think it's worth the money, and that's always a good thing. I'll provide more feedback as time goes on as I learn Spanish in my car.
