I realized that the people who cleaned my house were not doing a great job, and decided to do it myself...I read Speed Cleaning years ago & adhered to the principles, it made cleaning almost fun...so I decided to give it another try...Love it...A Ostrich feather duster, an apron with equipment, and a microfiber mop (from the speed cleaning web site) makes cleaning a snap...my house always looks terrific, and I'm happy...READ THIS BOOK...and do what they say...it's amazing...Book Review: Cleaning machine!

This book has been incredibly helpful! Particularly the: "stop here & go clean your house now" prompts. Suggestions for cleaning supplies, including make yourself aprons, perishable items & equipment. You're not locked in to using their equipment. Intended for professional cleaners, but any person who wants to clean more efficiently will definitely benefit from this book! It's a quick read, useful information. I am finally getting the bathroom clean, with just one short cleaning session! Speed Cleaning doesn't give you a bunch of "helpful" hints and tips for each tiny cleaning situation. It gives you a strategy for each room and each area within each room, with instruction on products (just a few that you carry with you) and techniques (make every motion count; don't clean it if it isn't dirty) to get results with a minimum of effort.Book Review: Very Informative and Interesting

I read through the book, bought some cleaning supplies and got to work! I liked the illustrations and examples of the order in which to clean, such as top to bottom and clockwise. My husband noticed the difference in the room I cleaned immediately. As I get used to the directions and equipment I'm sure I will get a lot faster and better at the cleaning. I don't have an apron, but I use the cleaning caddy and I plan to get an apron soon.Book Review: Speed Cleaning review

I put off reading this book, because it came highly recommended as a solution to never getting the whole house cleaned up. I knew I'd have to really work it to see the results, but it was fun to read and motivated me to get on the move and start cleaning more sensibly. The kids got a kick out of seeing dad in an apron and flying through cleaning routines, so they were motivated to get in on the "fun" too. It works!
