Book Review: Great help - good ideas.

My mom didn't teach us the art of housecleaning - at least not in an organized time saving manner. I will agree with some of the others that have left feedback - The author is a bit on the bossy side - but that said, the book has great advice on cleaning quickly. I was left with many ideas that helped to speed up my weekly cleaning. I will say, that after reading each chapter, I was inspired to jump up and clean.Book Review: Takes the chore out of housework

This had been on my wishlist for a while, I finally broke down and bought it for myself. I am giving it a 4 star rating only because I have yet to read the entire book. But what I have read has helped me housekeep faster, easierand most importantly, better. Some of the 'hints' Jeff gives you are common sense, others arethe type tht make you think, "How did I not know this?" S far I love this ook.Book Review: Teaching an old dog new tricks

After I ordered this book I had second thoughts. I'd been cleaning my entire life, what new could I learn? But after reading just a little in the book I picked up a couple of tips that were well worth the purchase price.
For a young person just starting to be responsible for his/her own place (or an older person doing his/her own cleaning for the first time) "Speed Cleaning" is a must.

Bought this book about 8 years ago. Loaned it out and it never came back. I missed it so much I had to buy another!This book helps you learn what it takes to clean thoroughly AND quickly. The advice they give on techniques, tools, and cleaners is invaluable. I have less stuff under my sink, and can get my cleaning done in 1/3 the time.
Great little book that takes you from step one to done!

Wonderful! I got the book yesterday, and started using his methods today, and I was able to clean my whole house in an hour (it used to take me 4 or 5 hours) and it looks sparkling. I recommend this book to people that like to see their house clean but don't have the time to do it. The book explains in a very detailed way room-by-room how to clean your house efficiently and faster.
