Book Review: Fun on St. John
Summary: 5 Stars
Pam Gaffin does a great job of guiding visitors on St. John Island. We used her helpful information for hiking the trails, using the maps she included. We rented a jeep and used her tours to navigate the roads. We followed her advice and found some woderful snorkeling. It was a marvelous vacation, made better with the information she presented.

We spent a week traveling through St. John, and this book was our bible. It was detailed, current, and answered every question we had, from snorkeling sites to restaurants to which roads to avoid. Indispensable if you're going to St. John. The only thing I'd say is that you should pair it with a park service map if you're going to be doing much hiking.Book Review: A Must Have for your trip to St. John!

This book is an excellent asset for a trip to St. John, USVI. Pam Gaffin is "right on" in her descriptions and tips about the island. It was our main source and our best source of information before and during the week on the island for snorkeling, hiking and driving. A great resource for St John. Not only did it give solid recommendations about activities on the island, it was also very specific about driving conditions. This turned out to be essential - the roads were often very steep and I felt much better about driving on the right side when I knew to expect the hairpin turns.Book Review: Fabulous, informative book!

Most recent edition, packed w/ information re beaches, hikes, site seeing by jeep, and helpful information that will make your trip much more enjoyable if you know it before you go.
