Book Review: Stinky Book

I never heard of this author until i picked up the audo version at the library, needing something to listen to. The story is so preposterous.
I thought he was the boyfriend also. Worse, the audo reader. Duncan has this ridculous fake, very poorly done southern accent.
The reader has no idea how to do one. Is Duncan a southerner? Worse is the Montalvo accent. I know Spanish, but the reader
uses a Romanian or Turkish accent. As stupid as the book is.

Book Review: Mystery Reader

I really liked the character of Eve Duncan, but as the series progressed, I found myself getting tired of this "Find Bonnie's Killer" how many more books are going to have a teaser that this is it and Bonnie's killer will be found at last.
When I bought this book and found out it was another Bonnie teaser I did something I have never done, I went to the end of the book and sure enough we are leaving Bonnie's killer for the NEXT book.
Sorry Iris I will not be buying anymore of your books.

I'm 1/2 through this book and all the characters have done so far is argue back and forth. First they argue about Eve going to Colombia, but she sneaks off and goes anyway. Then they argue about her being there and her doing the job she's supposed to do now that she's there. Very annoying.Book Review: OMG!!!

I enjoy author, Iris Johansen's books and Stalemate isured that I remain a loyal reader. The plot moved along quickly and kept me reading. I can't wait for the next book!
