Book Review: My son read this and immediately asked for the rest of the Stink books..
Summary: 5 Stars
As many have posted, trying to find a chapter book that isn't too hard or too easy and is interesting can be quite the challenge! With Stink he sat down to read it (after a little prodding) and proceeded to finish it in one sitting and ask for more. High praise indeed!
My son is a tad stubborn (he doesn't want to read or like his older brother's books...sigh, anyone want some Magic Treehouse books???) and loves a book with humor. He is 8 years old, in the second grade, and is above average in his reading (don't all mothers think their children are above average?? But that is what his teacher says). He is also reading the Wimpy Kids books and Captain Underpants as well as all things Star Wars (age appropriate).
In any case, this book did get a pretty fast thumbs up from my youngest...and is definitely worth a try!
