Book Reviews of Suffer the ChildrenBook Review: Suffer the Reader Summary: 1 Stars
As a fan of the horror genre, both film & fiction, it isn't often I find myself completely disgusted by a horror story. Bravo, John Saul. This book is both artless & hateful. The descriptions of torture of children, at the hand of another child, are graphic, sadistic, and completly nauseating. The story reads like a frustrated juvenille attempt at horror-porn. Do yourself a favor. Go to Peter Straub, Dean Koontz, Stephen King.
Book Review: THIS BOOK IS THE ULTIMATE IN HORROR!!! Summary: 5 Stars
When I was in middle school, I first read "Suffer The Children" and it was,no doubt, what got me hooked on the John Saul Fan that I am to this day. That book terrified, anticipated, made me wish there were more of it's kind. He has become a regular part of his world and I am so looking forward to the new June release of the next scary novel!!! John, YOU ARE THE MAN OF SUSPENSE!!!! Lenore@ Fmansearay
Book Review: wonderful!! Mom first read this to me years ago. Summary: 5 Stars
This is by far J. Sauls BEST book. It takes you, grabs you and it will not let you go. You live it as you read, even as it scares you to DEATH!! Slow painful murders, an evil child, blood, and a grizzly cat all add to the night of horror you will spend reading this book. Grab a blanket a pillow and a flash light. You won't want to be in the Dark after reading this book. ENJOY!!!
Book Review: The most gruesome and horrific book by Saul!! Summary: 5 Stars
This is Sauls first ever and best ever novel! The plot was great, and it left you begging for more. I loved the gruesome bloody cave scene that tells everything in full detail! When is he gonna make more books like this one? Ive read every book and I am reading every book a second time now, and they are even better than the firsttime I read them!
Book Review: It`s all about children. Summary: 5 Stars
This book is dealing with the children, their way of thinking and nobody who is somebody could do it better than John Saul. Neither Freud. It`s not really a horror novel but it contains such gore that would make certain weak people nervous. That`s probably the reason that doesn`t exist a movie called "Suffer The Children". Not yet.
