Book Reviews of Suffer the ChildrenBook Review: Pretty Good, but the ending seemed to be missing. Summary: 4 Stars
This was the first John Saul book I've ever read and the story grabbed me quickly, indeed I read the entire story in two days. I was so expecting a great ending, but was denied. At first I thought I was missing the last chapter (maybe I was), but it just trailed off without any real closure I felt. A good read anyway.
Book Review: His best - in my humble opinion Summary: 4 Stars
His first is still Saul's best book. Eerie and thrilling. Alas, as this was a big hit, he wrote exatly the same for nearly 20 more books, but here it is still fresh. If you want to try out Saul, or just read one of his books, try this one. There are others which are also quite ok, but, yes, try this one first
Book Review: Great first novel! Summary: 4 Stars
Wow, I just finished this book and man was it great! One thing you might ask yourself is how one child could be accused of something that could have been someone else? I say that while not revealing any spoilers but ask yourself this question when you are well into the book. It is really a disquieting book!
Book Review: Kept me wondering... Summary: 4 Stars
Overall, this was a pretty good book. I do have some questions regarding a few issues in the plot.... Example: Why did Beth choose Elizabeth to do all of the dirty work? Does anyone know? I would recommend reading this book... it'll defintely keep you on the edge of your seat!
Book Review: Creepy!!! Summary: 5 Stars
This was a fantastic, well-written book. I couldn't quit thinking about it after I read it. Even though, as some reviewers have stated, it does leave things somewhat unresolved, it stills tells a terrific horror story. Then ending is just a classic Saul ending.
