Book Review: WHAT A DELIGHTFUL FIND!!

What a delightful find. This was a very interesting memoir of two coeds (Marjorie and Marty) from Iowa. They travel to spend the summer of 1945 working in New York City. After quite a search they land positions as couriers for Tiffany (first females to ever grace the floor). They have a very fun-filled time in the Big Apple. They meet men from the Midshipmen's school at Columbia which adds spice to their lives. It was very interesting learning about the times in NYC and the enigma of Tiffany.Book Review: fabulous

absolutely wonderful book to read if interested in this time period/tiffany's/new york in general. I only wish that is was longer, it was so well written and makes me want to know more about the time. I love the 40's and 50's time period, and the author's stories really bring everything that was going on to life. read it in one sitting, i couldn't put it down. highly recommend!Book Review: A better time

This book was a wonderful story and it is hard to give a rating to someone's memories. It made me wish I lived during that time. Even though times were hard America worked together. The story was sweet and fun. It looks like Marjorie Hart and her friend Matty had a great summer and memories that lasted them a lifetime. I read this book over a couple of days and found it to be a light, engaging read. I loved reading about the era that the story took place. It seems like such a simpler time. I definitely plan to loan this book out for others to enjoy. Great story!
