The book itself is well written, it gives you all you really need to know how to start out: Squats!!! Now let me give you some details about what it is you will need to understand if you wish to go with this: a barbell, time, and hardwork.
Here it is in a nutshell, load the bar up to what you can do with for 10 good reps, now do 10 more reps without stopping, just do 20 reps (but these have to be deep-knee squats btw), breathe, squat, and once you reach 20 you're done that's it on that part. Remember this is weight you can normaly handle for 10 reps, you just do 10 more than normal in only 1 set. And you add 5lbs every other workout.
As far as the diet goes, it will help, and don't give me 'it has too many carbs, suger, etc etc etc.' Look there's always going to be stuff you never like, but if you really wish to make a leap, than do it. That's one thing you have to learn right off the bat if you're going to do this, HARDWORD, if you want this to work for you, you're going to have to put in some major hardwork; nothing is ever gained for doing things the easy way, that's fools way of life, but if you are really looking for something to give you a good kick in the rear this will do it, I should know, I did it and got what I needed from it.
One last thing, this is not for the boys, only those who are looking for something with real truth behind what's being said this is for you. A person who used this program was Paul Anderson, he may have looked big and slow, but he was super fast, and even strong than you or I will ever be.
