Book Review: Swallowing Darkness
Summary: 4 Stars
I really liked this book in the Merry Gentry series! There was a lot of story,and not as much porn(don't get me wrong, I like the porn, but sometimes you need more story!). I think that the natural progression of Merry's character from 'make love not war' to 'I'm going to execute every motherf-ing last one of you' was quite appropriate! Seriously, how much does one fairy princess have to put up with before everyone will cut her some slack on the killing thing!?! The end couldn't have been any better done, too!! Both Merry and Doyle giving up their crowns for Frosts' life, perfect!! I was totally upset and po'd about losing Frost at the end of 'a Lick of Frost' and bringing him back at the end of this one was the icing on the cake!
