I'm surprised how much I enjoyed this sequel. It continues to follow the Hannibal Lecter theme, but the actual affair between cop and killer was rather surprising. I did not like this book nearly as much as I did the 1st, but I liked the first a lot and it would be hard to compete with her first book. Still this book is interesting with some more twist and turns. If you enjoyed heartsick then this is a must read.Book Review: great sequel

There isn't enough substance to this sequel. Gretchen and Archie's obsession for each other isn't enough of a story line.
I think the author got away with some easy money on this book. Not alot of effort.

I enjoyed this book, but just didn't feel that it had as much suspense as the first. Hope the next installment of the series is better, but I will wait for it to release in paperback.
