Book Review: Better than the first!
Summary: 4 Stars
I enjoyed the first book, Sleeping with the Fishes (Fred the Mermaid, Book 1), but I think I liked this one even more. Here, we get to meet several more Undersea Folk when Fred attends their meeting in the Cayman Islands. Her best friend, Jonas, tags along and who else is there but her potential love interest, Thomas. King Mekkam is very entertaining as he tries to grasp the "biped dialect" that he has learned from watching Thomas's DVDs. Fred makes some new friends and it seems that she's finally come to a decision about Thomas and Artur. Since she has picked my favorite of the two, I'm hoping that nothing happens to make her change her mind. I'm looking forward to the next book.
