Book Reviews of Sword Song: The Battle for LondonBook Review: Best of a great series Summary: 5 Stars
Of a thoroughly entertaining series, this one was my favorite. Woven throughout the book is the theme of "fate is inexorable", and the pace of the book mirrors the theme beautifully. The end of every chapter leaves you desperate to find out what happens in the next.
Book Review: As good as Sharpe! Summary: 5 Stars
Fast paced and intriguing, Cornwell mixes well-reseached historical elements with his characters. This series is just as good as Sharpe! The main character still has some life in him so I expect a series which has a few more volumes. Can't wait for the next one.
Book Review: A very good read Summary: 5 Stars
Cornwell continues to spin a good yarn about Saxon England. As usual, his historical accuracy is spotty, but you don't read a novel for historical research anyway. This book held my attention from beginning to end. A very good and entertaining read.
Book Review: Great historical fiction book Summary: 4 Stars
These books are really entertaining. If you like historical fiction, definately pick them up. This series is his second best after the Warlord Chronicles.
