Book Reviews of TailSpin (FBI Series)Book Review: killed a child - oops - accident Summary: 2 Stars
If you can get past Rachael's rude attitude, then there are the cover ups (plural) for the wealthy to deal with. It bothered me that a drunk driving/talking on the cell phone/hit and run vehicular manslaughter of a child kept being referred to as an accident. The only time the family of the victim was mentioned came when the family was sent a large sum of money with an anonymous apology note. Touching for them I'm sure! Never were their feelings or need for closure mentioned. Lots of talk of protecting the reputation of the rich. Think I might be done with Coulter's FBI series.
Book Review: Why, oh why... Summary: 1 Stars
I honestly don't know why Catherine Coulter still writes. All of her books have the same characters, the same dialogue and the same ending. To be brutally honest, the last couple of her books have sucked. The characters are flat with no real chemistry or depth, the story is laughable and even Sherlock and Savich are getting old and tired. She really needs to grow as a writer and move on to other subjects. Will not be reading anymore of her books.
Book Review: My 1st Coulter Novel Summary: 3 Stars
I bought this book before a flight to the East Coast without really viewing the plot blurb on the back cover and almost didn't read it at all. However, if you can get past the premise that a psychiatrist on the run from attempted murder would be saved by a young woman who is being pursued by totally different villains, it's a fair read. Not the most suspenseful novel in the world, but it beats watching mind-numbing television.
Book Review: Poorly Written Summary: 2 Stars
I am shocked that this book is getting any good reviews. I am a Catherine Coulter fan and looked forward to this book. I felt like the story never happened -- there was no development in the romance and the mystery was predictable. Even the interaction between Sherlock and Savich was stale and annoying! I thought the writing was terrible, which also surprised me. I am so disappointed!
Book Review: Tail Spin Summary: 5 Stars
The book, Tail Spin, kept me on the edge of my seat. I could not put it down. It is such an exciting book that you feel like you are there with all the characters. I simply love Savage and Sherlock. Catherine Coulter you did a great job again. That is why I love your books.
