Book Review: What a TERRIBLE book!

I researched online to get a book for my 12-year-old daughter that would give good make-up and skincare advice for her pre-teen age. This book got so many great reviews---and why?? I am shocked at how horrible it is! It is full of ridiculous-looking make-up concepts (like one with a girl wearing a vertical line of blue eyeshadow drawn down the center of her eye on the lid and underneath the eye!) that looked like something out of a 80s music video! There is maybe ONE picture of a young girl who looks fresh and pretty. I looked at the copyright because I thought maybe I had just purchased something outdated--2004--so, that wasn't the problem! If you are looking for how-tos on make-up and skincare for young skin, this book is NOT it! Most of the girls looked like they were going to a Halloween bash or auditioning for a part in "The 80s Movie." I hope the return shipping is free. I am annoyed---and annoyed at those reviewers! There is just NO WAY they actually opened this book. I think those reviews were fake. No one except maybe a clown-in-training would recommend this book! I wish I could give it zero stars.
