Book Review: This book really works!
Summary: 5 Stars
If you are serious about becoming a master seducer, this is the #1 book to study. It is poignant, revealing, realistic, perhabps a bit evil, but in an exciting way... and it WORKS! After having read the book three times, carefully thinking through it's advice, and applying it to my own life, I can attest that it truly does teach you to seduce different people - even people that you thought would never like you or fall for you.
"The Art of Seduction" starts out by destroying a major misunderstanding or illusion that many of us have: love is NOT mysterious, it doesn't just arise on its own for an uncomprehensible reason. The truth is that there is very definite real psychology behind falling in love. This book begins to teach you that psychology and how you can use it to your advantage. This book is a gold mine in the hands of someone who will give it effort, time, and thought.
BE WARNED: just reading or skimming through this book will not be enough to turn you into a master seducer. You must STUDY the book and actually APPLY what it teaches to your own life. This means carefully reading the book more than once, thinking it through, and acting on the advice. As the book says, all people are different - there's no single trick or set of tricks that will work with everyone. You must learn to study people around you and figure out which action is best fit for every particular individual and situation. Mastery of the art of seduction will require effort, work, and patience. But this book is probably the best guide to follow.
Book Review: Over-complicated

I have nothing against the manipulative intentions set forth in this massive book. However, what I find difficult is it's sheer inaccessibility. It's long winded and over complicated. At 450 pages, with small type and margins filled with historical quotes, it's not something most men can readily use. The author is a literature buff. It has a historic/literary feel to it all.
This is meant more for the type who are willing to dedicate their whole life, depth and soul to seducing, manipulating and taking advantage of women. It seems like an awful lot of work.
I'm a shy guy myself without much relationship/sex experience, even at 30. What I'm looking for is to have the confidence and power to be able to connect with women, make close friendships, and have sex when I want it. I just want to have free choice over which women I can be with.
I'd rather recommend How to Succeed with Women, it's much more accessible to every day people with personal lives. It's more analytical and to-the-point than so artsy/whimsical, with step by step overview of the seduction/dating process. Plus it can help you all around, with dating, relationships, making female friends, or just sex. I dunno about other men, but one day I'm going to meet that one incredible girl I want all to myself for the rest of my life. There's no need to mess around for eternity. Seems awful lonely.
Book Review: This book is not a joke.

It is dangerous, both mentally & physically and may have dire consequences. Careful selection of victims is paramount to the effects and results of the seduction. Beware, for some strategies have no reversal or point of return. Either carry on or engineer an exit and prepare for fallout. While it might be easy to calculate the reponses of the seduction along the way, it is difficult to measure the final response of the victim. Tread carefully. Judge if the seduction is worth the aftermath.
Enter the arena with an objective, leave when objective is achieved. No regrets, no emotions. Do not change objectives midway. Best to divert fallout to someone else.
For those who think this book is a joke, you have missed the essence and will lay besieged when dealt with capable minds. Whether you are qualified/chosen is another story. Proud armies will fall. Life is a stage where all performs. Whether you are looking for love, working for money, sharing a home, it does not make a difference.
Now that this is in the open, let the games begin. Two days after deliberating the methods in this book, coquette seems to work on a few exciting minds. As described by the authors, "they are almost always willing victims". You'll be delighted at their qualities. Now is time to exit with minimum damage, maybe it can be turned into something greater for their sake. But in the end, nature will get back to you. You will be hollow..
Book Review: a guide book for those who realize that life is brutal

Upon sitting down with this book originally, I discovered that it is not a book lightly browsed. Although it is brutally harsh in it's approach to the human way of thinking and living, only with this type of unbaised approach can we truly discover the truth of human nature and use it for our own means.I found it in the business section of my local bookstore, where it's name seemed distinctly out of place with the books surounding it. As another reviewer commented, though, it applies to so much more than wanting a sexual relationship with someone - it can be used on your boss, on co-workers, on anyone who could prove to be holding you back from whatever it is that you want.
I bought it because I've realized that I am an incredibly naive person, and I work in the incredibly harsh world of high end sales. This book has taught me how to look at the people around me in a new way, to always be the favorite, able to take what I want, where before, I was always the one out of place.
Although we are no longer literally in the days of 'eat or be eaten,' this book teaches us the new survival tactics that will push us ahead in an everyday world of power = survival. It covers all bases, as well as fleshing out any questions you might have with imagination stirring stories, and writings in the margins. I highly reccommend this book to anyone who is serious about getting ahead, and realizes that it won't happen by being 'nice.'
Book Review: This is NOT mere literary entertainment- it's an EVIL MANUAL

I read others' reviews and find those who read this book and find it entertaining, amusing, and just a literary piece with some historical value to be still suffering from extreme naivete. The true message, embedded amidst historical examples, can be found in just flipping through the book in under 2 hours. This is a modern-day how-to guide on manipulating and controlling another, weakening them through covert measures, and undermining their strength through destabilizing and disorientation-- oh yes, all in the name of "seduction." I am actually thrilled to discover this "manual" because someone had been employing these tactics upon me for months. I was smart enough to know that some "textbook" strategies were being used, but I could not exactly pinpoint or locate them in the written form. I was relieved and elated to fall upon this 'emotional vampire's' secret weapon.
I could go on and on, but trust me on this-- this is book is not meant as a lighthearted, entertaining read. The stories are merely included as examples, and moreso to provide a bit of a romantic spin and make the true message less abhorrent and repugnant. Greene is so serious and his following cultlike, as he hosts and sponsors a website-- seducersworld-- from which I was just recently "banned" due to posting two (2) oppositional posts to his "teachings".
