Book Reviews of The Best Recipes in the World

Book Review: Great food!
Summary: 5 Stars

Really love this cookbook. Not only does it provide a lot of great new recipes to try, it also makes those recipes as easy as possible. I have made several of the Asian dishes so far, and all are quite good. If you're wanting to dig deep into a particular cuisine, this book may have some flaws. But if your goal is to expand your recipe collection with several do-able, flavorful, exotic alternatives, this book is it! My plan is to meander through the regions of cooking. Recommendations around staple ingredients and where to buy also are provided.

Book Review: Best recipes in the world cookbook by Mark Bittman
Summary: 5 Stars

This is a great book for experienced cooks that like to add variety to their menus. The recipes are short and concise, fairly quick and easy.
The downside is that the book has no pictures,,,its not that kind of book but more of an encyclopedia of recipes book.
Instead of using 20 other books , all I need is one to have a variety of options to choose from. I am familiar with Bittmans's style and am very much at ease following his recipes. For people who think variety is the spice of life, its an incredible book!

Book Review: High class cuisine
Summary: 5 Stars

Excelent book, a round-the-world guide to high finesse cooking. As all Mark Bittman's books, it should be present in the house of all those interested in quality cooking, or if you want to surprise your girlfriend, boyfriend, friends or relatives. Excellent organized, very easy to understand and very clear. The book can be also considered as an international atlas of cooking. So, buckle up your seat belt and step on the gas! Prepare for the best!

Book Review: Easy, tasty recipes
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought this book because _How to Cook Everything_ had become one of my go-to cookbooks, and I agree with the previous reviewers in that I've always appreciated Bittman's emphasis on simplicity. As long as it tastes good, I don't care how authentic it is. Recently I tried Bittman's posole recipe and I wasn't disappointed. Since I grew up in NM, the idea of using canned hominy for posole was somewhat horrifying, but as I didn't have any real posole on hand, I decided to give it a try and was far from disappointed.

Book Review: Great Book
Summary: 5 Stars

I love this one. I have a couple of Bittman's other books and this is my favorite. I just love reading it to get ideas. Until now I had not found any book that covered so many different cuisines so simply. I have made a couple of the recipes and my husband loves them. One he asks for over and over again. For that one recipe alone the book is worth the cost. This is my new go to book for ethnic food from an American pantry.
