Book Review: cast of characters
Summary: 5 Stars
From the identical looking "Brighty" and "Luvy" with such opposite characters, to the peaceful warrior "Anakhan" and the cool hanging "Rainbow". This indescribable book is full of colourful and ADORABLE characters, who just happen to be birds. It is a hard book to categorize...its not cutesy, but its not harsh either. There is a peaceful "realness" to the pictures and words that just make you feel good. Unlike anything I've ever seen or read. It makes you feel closer to the divine without the sense of pretension.
A perfect book in its own class. It made me appreciate our pet lovebird "Romeo Chirpy" that much more.

Besides the book 'The Dogs In My Life', this book is very beautiful as well, both the messages and the pictures in the book. I didn't know there are so many beautiful parakeets out there. They are so beautiful and charming. I came across this book and The Dogs In My Life at a friend's house, and I told myself `I must have these books' in my library. This type of book does open the door not only into the world of birds but also into the world of all animals. It shows that all animals do have intelligence and feelings like us, and we should respect and protect them in every way we can. Thank you again.Book Review: Great Christmas Presents for my Kids!

I think the layout and the color of "The Birds in My Life" book are very attractive. The pictures themselves tell the innocent of the Birds and the unconditional love of their Owner.
My young children will definitely find this book surprisingly as for their Christmas presents and through this book I believe my children will develop more the love and understanding to all the birds and other animal, not just human kind.
I highly recommend the parents to give our children a chance to be exposed to the great loving message and energy from this book.
Book Review: The worst book I have ever looked at it my life

I can't even start to describe this book. It was so incredibly uncomfortable to read any of it. The pictures were colorful and quite nice. The writings were so odd, uncomfortable, weird and strange that I seriously couldn't look at it anymore. It was simply uncomfortable to look at. I ended up trying to give it away. I had trouble finding someone who would take it for free, since once I described it, no one wanted it either. I don't think it is an Asian issues; I am Asian American. I would never buy it or look at it again, it was too traumatic for me to do so.Book Review: Don't miss such beautiful and colorful book

It is amazing to have a book like "The Birds in My Life" by the Supreme Master Ching Hai. I really felt birds gone into my life, with the depth understanding how they felt and perceive the world that i had never known before. Hopes all the people of the world who loves animals could sense as lovely as the author does to the birds, which is very touching but colorful, joyful but peaceful, loves but LOVES .
Personal recommendation: Highly recommend to go through the book "The Dogs in My Life".
