Book Review: Some Very Interesting Stuff

Essentially this book is a collection of newspaper columns by the author. Readers have asked behavioral questions about their own cats, and the author gives some very insightful answers.
While the columns are arranged by general subject rather than simply chronologically, this still leads to a slightly ackward organization. The book doesn't really flow from one idea to another, as each section was written independently of each other section. Nor is it organized in a way that you can look-up a specific behavior, and get an answer. The best you can do is go to a general category, and skim the stories in that category. So essentially, this is neither a great reference work, nor is it a page-turning disertation.
That said, I still think it was an interesting book, and I did learn a lot from it. And my cat always appreciates it when I make the effort to understand him and his motivations better. After all, one of us has to be trying. So I'm happy with the book.
