Book Reviews of The ChaseBook Review: jiffypop Summary: 4 Stars
Action goes by too fast so the book seems short. So far I've liked all of the Clive Cussler books I've read. This detective, from an agency like the Pinkertons, is in other books. Reading all of them lets me learn more about our protagonist. Some connections between actions are hard to believe but they are still interesting and easy to overlook.
Book Review: Clive Cussler at his best Summary: 5 Stars
This book was an attention grabber from the first page. It has everything that I enjoy in a story: mystery, suspense, action and best of all surprise. It was a complete surprise to me when I learned the identity of the mystery villain. I higly recommend this book. I'm anxious to read more about Isaac Bell.

Book Review: A change but excellent thriller Summary: 5 Stars
I have been a long fan of the Dirk series so I was a little skeptical of this sideline. Wow, I could not drop this book. My wife has never cared for his books but I told her this one was different. She read it and was hooked as well. Highly recommend this book as it is not only suspenseful but sends you in to a time we often forget.
Book Review: What a waste Summary: 1 Stars
Hard to put this delicately. Clive Cussler sux. Talentless formulaic garbage with his own political bias.
I hesitate to call him the "Bill O'Reilly" of fiction because
a) he probably sees that as a complement
b) its hard to discern who is the fictional writer with that comparison.
Book Review: "The Chase" is a refreshing departure... Summary: 4 Stars
I have been a Clive Cussler fan for many years - decades really. I recognize that his books are rather formulaic in nature and enjoy them for what they are. "The Chase" is a refreshing departure from his other novels though with new characters, locations (i.e. it doesn't take place on he high seas) and time period.
