Book Reviews of The ChaseBook Review: Excellent read! Summary: 5 Stars
I loved this book. Very different from other Clive Cussler books. Very entertaining and suspenseful. It was interesting enough that I was sad when I realized I was finished. I wanted to keep the ride going and going. Nice new characters.
Book Review: A change of pace for Cussler Summary: 5 Stars
This is a change for Cussler since it does not have his normal group of hero's at the center of the story. More historical drama, which he is so good at in the beginning chapters of most of his books.
It is an enjoyable read.
Book Review: Pitt fans will enjoy this Summary: 4 Stars
Although this book is set in the late 1800s, to me it reads a lot like a Dirk Pitt book. This lead character is actually an investigator for a living, but he has many of Pitt's attributes. A page turner from a master storyteller.
Book Review: Clive Cussler to the rescue Summary: 4 Stars
I am a died in the wool Clive Cussler fan, but wish he would put more detail in his lead in. Have read so many of his books, catch myself buying the same one again. A variety of characters for any adventure seeker. Edith King
Book Review: Painful Summary: 1 Stars
I made myself finish the book just out of curiosity. Sadly, it never got better. The characters and dialogue were cliché. It could be a script for a bad made for TV movie.
