Book Reviews of The ChoiceBook Review: The Choice...a Bad One Summary: 1 Stars
This book is just another reminder that Nick Sparks is losing his touch. So many of his earlier novels wove believable love stories that touched us all. Now, when picking up a Nicholas Sparks novel, I can already predict the ending, so the middle is usually pointless. In the case of this story, the middle was pointless- falling in love in a weekend after virtually no interaction at all?!? Don't waste your time or money...if you are new to Nicholas Sparks, try something like The Notebook, The Wedding, or The Guardian.
Book Review: The Reality in Making Choices Summary: 5 Stars
Sparks is at the top of his game in "The Choice" as he brings down to earth, in a credible life drama, the reality and consequences that face all of us who find ourselves in the position of having to make life altering decisions, not only for ourselves, but also having been entrusted to do so for another. What I most appreciate about Sparks writing, both here in The Choice and in his other books is his high regard for moral integrity.
Book Review: Hard to Believe? Summary: 4 Stars
This book reminded me of the Terri Shavo (sp?) case and what would have happened if the other decision had been made... Though I like Sparks' mindless story, it was a bit hard for me to believe that Gabby and Travis were really in love from their first encounter. It seemed as though Sparks had to use a lot of wordy reinforcement for an unnatural love. However, it was a page-turner and a great break from reality...
Book Review: Another great story Summary: 5 Stars
Nicholas Sparks THE CHOICE is another great book by this author. I have read most of his books and this one does not disappoint. It leaves you wondering through the whole book as to "what is the choice". It is not what you think it is.Actually there are many Choices in the book. Great characters in the book and another love story with emotions.
Book Review: Made the right choice Summary: 5 Stars
This book is so worth the read! I really enjoyed this book. When the book first starts off, I was sort of confused as to what was going on. Once you get into the story, it is a really well told, good book. The ending was different that what I expected, but it was still good. I reallly recommened this book.
