The second book in `The Summer Clique Collection' Dylan focuses on Dylan Marvil, daughter of TV interview Merri-Lee Marvil. In Honolulu so Merri-Lee can interview tennis star (and recent rehab graduate for her anger management issues) Svetlana, Dylan suddenly finds herself reconsidering her boy-free summer vacation plans when she meets hawtie J.T. in the resort boutique. The only thing is he's tennis obsessed and Dylan knows absolutely zilch, but when the chance comes up to blackmail Svetlana into helping her become the ultimate tennis guru, she leaps at it. But will all the pain and suffering be actually worth it?
Well there was a lot of the book I liked, some of it not so much but the ending redeemed the book in the end, upping the 3.5 Enchantments I was thinking of giving this one. Svetlana at times really threatened to overtake the story and I think sort of did for a good chapter or two when she was training Dylan in the trademark Svetlana Way. But I really liked Dylan and how she planned to get back at those who turned on her (which I can't say much about without giving away the ending), but the ball girl scene with Dylan and Svetlana was hands down my favorite in the book and I loved the outcome of it. Let's just say everyone truly got what they deserved.
