Book Review: Best resource for beginners

This is my first time writing an Amazon review, as I have never been that moved by a product to take the time to write one. The Crochet Answer Book is a different story! This tiny book is the BEST resource I have found to learn crochet.
I have been attempting to learn how to crochet for the past year, using a variety of books and online videos. At the end of every attempt I felt discouraged and lost because it didn't seem like any book was answering all of the questions I had. Last week I decided to pick this up at my library in a last ditch attempt to learn crochet, and after 15 minutes with the book, things were making more sense than they ever had in the past years worth of books and videos!
Although this book is small, the descriptions of how to do each stitch are incredibly thorough, with great illustrations that I can actually compare my own work to. This is the only book I have found that describes how to do each stitch into the foundation chain, and into an established row, which was one of my main questions. It also answered all my questions about which stitch to start with, and how to turn my work, which most books just breeze right over. I am so impressed by this book, and it has finally made learning crochet possible for me!
