Book Review: Ok for beginners, but should not be relied upon

Having experience with Melody's Crystal Healing and her book "Love is in the Earth," I have found that this book is OK for people beginning to work with crystals and stones, but that it has a lot of misinformation. For example, Carnelian DOES NOT cleanse other stones. Only Selenite can do that. Don't rely totally on the information in this book. I purchased this book the same time i purchased "The Book of Stones." It has been a great guide to help with things that are not in the the other book. It is good when used in conjunction with The Book of Stones. Alone this book doesn't have the same impact as if used together. But it is a great little guide when you can't keep the bigger book around. I give this book 1 Thumb up.Book Review: The best crystal reference guide out there!

I have used a few different reference guides, but this is the easiest to understand and put your crystals to use! Has photos of the crystals, and gives detailed information of the specific gifts each crystal offers. Includes how to clear, clean, and recenter yourself, ask for protection and healing. I would recommend this to anyone interested in enhancing the use of their crystals.Book Review: excellent for beginner

I knew nothing about crytals. This book is thorough, and has great colored photos of crystals to identify whatever you have. It is written clearly and very well organized (alphbetically), to help you search. Author does have some opinions on functions of crystals - not all may agree. People with more advanced knowledge would also find this book helpful I would recommend it to all.Book Review: Wonderful Crystal Guide Book

After looking through a copy of this book at the public library, I just had to purchase one for my home library.(Amazon.com, by far,has the best price on this book)
It is an invaluable guide with beautiful pictures of the crystals and complete descriptions. It has helped me in my choice of crystals for myself and my friends.
I highly recommend this book to everyone.
