Book Reviews of The Cure for All Diseases: With Many Case HistoriesBook Review: Doug Summary: 1 Stars
(...)is an easy task to see if this is true or not. It's called a "controlled experiment" similar to the one my dad's friend underwent with prostate cancer. He too went through the HD Clark regimine, among other 'cure cancer' treatments on the market, with one exception: his Tcell count for cancer was monitored every six months by a cancer center in San Diego, CA. It was a simple test. When cancer cells in the body reach a certain level, known by blood tests, the subject is in danger of death. This conclusion is arrived at by years of practical research that shows exactly that conclusion. No one disputes that claim. When a person has a certatin number of cancer cells in his body, the cancer matastisizes (travels to other body parts), and he dies unless he takes action. If cancer matatisizes, and travels to other parts of the body, you're pretty much dead. That's why the skin cancer melanoma is so feared--it has a tendency to break away form the skin and travel to other body parts. But back to my dad's friend. After a year of Clarks and others' remedies, the cancer cell count was so high the doctor told him in no uncertain words, "If you do not do something now, you're going to die." He had the prostate surgery, non invasive, and within 6 months his cell count was back to normal. Now that is a good experiment. It takes the diagnosis of a subject, in indisputable terms--that he has cancer--then monitors 'remedies' by testing every so often for cell counts. This is something that Clark did not do. I know there is no way to convince people of what they want to believe, but if you care about living, just make sure you allow established science to monitor, through controlled experiments, your body's progress, or not, using alternative methods. If you still don't believe in established science, then at least you have made an informed decision to die. If my dad's friend had not done just that, science told him he would have long ago been a dead man--but her's the rub--no one can prove that because he decided to have the established medical proceedure. However, others with his same condition have died because they did not have the medical proceedures, and many have died using 'Clark type' methods, whereas those with similar cancers did not die using established science. This is one way in which science works: It takes past knowledge and applies that to future, similar circumstances. Sure, science makes errors, and you can be a guinea pig if you want to. The stakes are your life though. So ignore what you wish and die well if you wish. For me, given the information I have read, this is quack works. It is suprious. So when someone says "X worked for me" ask them how they know that. Ask them is they were part of a controlled experiment. Ironically, HD Clarks brother died after receiving tratments from his sister and was proclaimed 'cured.' He died several months later of cancer. Excerpted from the essay above, which is completely cited and supported: "None of the reports provides any basis for concluding that Clark's treatment has the slightest value. The majority of the people described in the 103 case reports did not have cancer. Of those that did, most had received standard medical treatment or their tumors were in their early stages. In these cases, Clark pronounced them cured but did not follow what happened after they left her clinic -- so she could not possibly know how they did afterward. In some cases, she counted patients as cured even though she noted that they died within a few weeks after she treated them. Two people who seem knowledgeable have informed me that Clark's brother, Henry Regehr, died of cancer despite treatment by her."
Book Review: Sketchy "science," advice impossible to follow Summary: 2 Stars
Fyi, Hulda Clark died in 2009 of cancer. That should tell you something. Apparently, she genuinely believed in her work because she treated herself.
In 1931, Warburg won 2 Nobel prizes for finding a cure for cancer: an alkaline diet. It is a natural cure that does not get the attention it deserves, but it warrants a Nobel Prize because it has been backed by science and practice! The funny thing is that boiled milk is a superfood for almost any ailment according to Clar, but it is very unhealthy according to the proven, Nobel Prize winning alkaline diet. There are many books on this subject, my favorite being "The Live Food Factor."
First of all, EVERYTHING is toxic, according to this book. I buy green products, eat incredibly healthy (all organic, homemade, whole foods), and make my own green cleaners; and I could never follow the advice from this book. Gas heat is off limits, parking in your garage (or even opening the door to the garage), everything bought at the store is polluted in some way. She even describes at length how to free your environment of fiberglass, which apparently is an absolute must for anyone with a chronic lung condition or even a temporary cough. It involves inspecting all of the walls in your home and plugging up every unfilled nail hole to prevent fiberglass from entering into your home. Really? What would push the fiberglass through these tiny holes? Unless there is circulation or a pressure build up in your walls, any small particles within your walls will stay there. Otherwise, you would see dust built up around such holes, which is not the case because dust and particles merely settle.
Also, there is NO basis to the science of any of her machines. There aren't even any explanations. Given that Clark is the only one who has tested these machines, I would expect her to have a background in medicine science, or at least electronics. Upon doing my research, I found that her ND "degree" came from a 100 course. I see a naturopath and who a real degree in natural medicine, and he recommends treatments that can be verified with real science. If she were really onto something, she could have done legitimate research and published it.
I actually bought this book to learn the science behind Rife machines, but Clark makes no mention of the fact that this technology has been pioneered several times before her. She says that she come up with the whole concept, which is entirely untrue. After reading her book, I am ready to write off Rife machines as well. I would like to believe it is true, but I simply cannot find any real evidence to back up her claims. Even in the positive reviews, no one has a real, chronic, documented disease that this "technology" cures. I think it merely has a placebo effect.
... and Borax cannot replace shampoo. Don't try that. If you're that worried about toxins, don't even bother washing your hair. The outcome would be the same.
Book Review: Makes sense to me. Worth a try. Summary: 5 Stars
Read the other posts for book content. I got the stuff for the Zapper although there is a website to get a manufactured new and improved one. She's right that Radio-shack doesn't have all the parts anymore. My husband said that Frye's had everything we needed. He put it together for me one evening was about ready to pitch the works because it didn't, work, that is. Fiddled with it next day and got it working.
I zapped yesterday and had more energy than I've had in a long time. I started on the Kidney Cleanse today and so far my eyesight has improved, I feel energized and the stuff didn't even taste terrible. I've had herbal tea that tasted worse. Coffee and tea taste much worse to me. I'm going to keep a jounal of my progress. I'm going to follow the protocol's in the book as closely as possible. I'll update my post now and then. I don't mind trying something new. At least this stuff won't hurt me like some of the nasty stuff doctor's have given me in the past. Day three and energy level is so great it is hard not to over do. I can see better and work harder than I have been able to in a long time.
Weeks later and I haven't followed the protocols like I should, the only thing I've done at all cosistently is zap and still I have gone from getting headaches every time I even had a nibble of a cracker or a piece of bread or any sugar to being able to eat whatever I want again. I do intend to go back to doing the different cleanses in the book, but I've been reading some fun stuff and then I'll get back to the serious business of health improvement.
December 31, 2007. My whole family has been laid low by some bug that has them all coughing and feeling lousy and I've got a little tickle in my throat but out of everyone I'm the healthiest one in the family and I'm the only one zapping. The others are unable to for one reason or another. I still haven't gone back to doing the drinks. They call for a non-reactive cookpot and we have a glass stove-top. The pans I found that were non-reactive said not to be used on a glass stove-top. Anyway, that won't hold me back for long. I'll update when I get it figured out.
If you can't figure out how to make the thing, find someone who is familiar with electronics and have them build one for you, or just buy one on line. I paid $79.00 in Doctor prescribed drugs for someone in the family who can't zap because she's got braces and she sounds worse and feels worse than before she started on the drugs. So, don't go belly-aching about the cost. It is much more expensive to be sick and go the standard route.
Happy Zappy
Book Review: Read this book now even if you're young and healthy! Summary: 5 Stars
A book about prevention for healthy people to contemplate over too! Our environment has become more toxic, our foods have become more processed, and many diseases such as cancer are on the rise. If you choose to assume that there is a direct relation between illness and things like the processing of foods and products we use then this book will help you decide what changes to make in your life. Why put your trust in or wait for the FDA (to tell you)?Ever wonder WHY people buy "health" versions of deodorant, shampoo, toothpaste, etc? This book explains which toxins are in specific brand name products. Interestingly the author trashes many of the so called HEALTH products, as being tainted by toxic residues from the manufacturing process. Hulda sternly advises us to eliminate all TRACES of contaminants like solvents from our diets. Is this paranoia? Overkill? That is the burning question! At the very least this book is worth examining with a grain of salt. To COMPLETELY discount this book is being overly cynical. There is much to learn from this book. You need to educate yourself on the pros and cons of what you are exposing your body to. Other topics discussed in this book include such things as the cons of having metal teeth fillings. Hulda even trashes bottled water as being a major source of solvents that we consume. She offers some theories in this book. One of Hulda's boldest hypotheses is that cancer results from toxins and parasites. She says that by using electrical frequencies you can kill the parasites. By completely eliminating all toxins the combination of both efforts enables your body to eliminate the cancer on it's own. This sure SOUNDS like a stretch but I have no first hand knowledge to base an opinion on her "cancer treatment". She also suggests cures for illnesses like psoriasis and ALS. Outside of reading this book I know that scientists have observed and theorized that ALS can sometimes be triggered by exposure to toxins. I have to be skeptical whether everyone can be CURED of ALL diseases. Delayed or prevented may be the more realistic hope. Paranoia or Substance? Decide for your self. Alternative medicine ALWAYS draws cries of quackery from critics. This book is under scrutiny by some (ex - healthwatcher.com). I've read the arguments but I still believe that there has to be at least some substance to this book.
Book Review: This book changed my life !! Summary: 5 Stars
I was in the military and exposed to a lot of chemicals without proper protection (sanding and painting metals). Then i got two large dental fillings, and a year later i started having dicomfort around my middle (in retrospect, probably kidney irritation). Had to wear loose pants. A couple years later my whole life began to deteriate. I had chronic yeast infection, urinary infection, and watery bowel movements with stomache cramps. Military doctors treated with temporary infection treatments, but didnt offer any indepth search for the cause of this seemingly sudden onslaught of ill health. My sex life was seriously effected, and my marriage was strained.
My mother gave me cranberry tablets. The cranberry tablets kept my urinary infections at bay, a non-corn syrup diet kept my yeast infections to a minimum, and a unnaturally heavy dose of fiber kept my bowels controlled.
My mother gave me this book and after reading it I thought this is crazy. But after getting out of the military, and starting a job as a cashier, and getting a cold or flu every month, i became desperate, and thought, i should try the cold cure in this book. For the first time in my life, i didnt have a two month cough after the cold was over. I was sold.
Bought the zapper. Next tried the bowel cleanse, and for the first time in over two years, i had normal bowel movements. But, like promised, i became reinfected. So moved on to the kidney cleanse, and i no longer had the chronic urinary infections. Moved on to the liver cleanse, and after the 3rd cleanse, i was able to eat pizza without indigestion and no more bowel infections or yeast infections !! Next, knowing i was now clean and in good health, i had babies !!
Will these things cure cancer? Dont know, but i am convinced that if i hadnt done these cleanses, i would have been well on my way to cancer by now. Especially with all that zinc chromate and steel dust in my lungs, kidney, and liver.
I did this cleanse when i was 30, I have since slipped back into old habits, eating whatever i like, using store bought soaps, and now 8 years later i feel the need to do another cleanse. This book has not cured my allergies, but my parents have had a lot of help with individually tailored homeopathic allergy drops.
