Book Reviews of The Dangerous Days of Daniel X

Book Review: Book is written for 8 year olds
Summary: 1 Stars

This book seems to be written for 8 year olds by a 12 year old.
I swear Patterson probably wrote this in one sitting. Zero creativity at all.
It's just a knock off of other stories already out there, but in particular Men in Black. I mean take a look at the book cover. A pretty similar resemblance to Heroes don't you think?
Good news is you can finish this thing in 1 or 2 sittings. If Patterson thinks he is creating the next "Harry Potter" his bank account and his publisher are going to be seriously disappointed.

Book Review: Mindless Drivel
Summary: 1 Stars

This book cannot be co-written by the James Patterson we know and love! What a lot of mindless drivel; and I only read two chapters. There are so many books and so little time to read them all. Don't waist a minute even picking this one up. I cannot believe James Patterson would even put is name on this book. It is worst than Jimmy Buffet's new book entitled 'Swine Not'. Swine Not?: A Novel Another loser to not waist time or money on!

Book Review: Nearly entertaining
Summary: 2 Stars

I have read other books written by James Patterson, Cross as an example, and was expecting the same calibre book here. I wish I would have read some reviews first. The writing seemed like it had been done by somebody many years younger with no experience. It was ripe with cheesy comments, and overflowing with cliches. I thought that it had some good ideas, and possibly a good potential story, but the story jumped too much without enough explanations and background. Look for it at a used bookstore, you should find a few copies.

Book Review: The Dangerous Days of Dumb Books
Summary: 1 Stars

Let me start out by saying that I have very low standards when it comes to liking books. I can read almost anything and enjoy it. But not this book.
The dangerous Days of Daniel X was like a really bad fan fiction. It was beyond unbelievable, and it felt like James Patterson was just making the story up as he went along. With all the plot holes in this story it felt like I was trying to read swiss cheese. It was all I could do to finish reading it.

To say that I do not recommend this book is an understatement.

Book Review: out of this world.
Summary: 5 Stars

i wont lie i am a fan of james patterson, so it was no surprise that when i saw this book at the bookstore i immediately picked it up.
the book was great, daniel is a fun character and easy to relate to whether you're a guy or girl.
keep in mind that i have never read books about aliens. so this is a step up for me.
i cant wait for the rest of the adventures but i hope they dont all comeout in hardcover, its hard to carry a hardcover book versus a paperback lol.
