Book Reviews of The Dangerous Days of Daniel X

Book Review: This book is a complete joke. Patterson should be ashamed.
Summary: 1 Stars

A lot of the reviews here are accurate, except the ones that say this book is remotely good. I was stuck on a plane so i was forced to read this book and I literally could not believe that Patterson, who has done some great stuff in the past, would put his name on this book.

Not only is it obvious Patterson had nothing to do with the writing here, but it seems like it was written by a ten year old. Its a cheap Men-in-Black copycat and is completely unreadable. These authors selling themselves out by putting their names on books they have nothing to do with is unethical and clearly bait and switch tactics.

Don't waste your money. I swear if i was at the airport were I bought this I would have returned the book. I am an avid reader and this is the worst book i have ever read by far.

Book Review: Perfectly Fine
Summary: 4 Stars

I found this book to be a great two hour time killer. I was lucky enough to be able to just sit down and read it without having it interrupted (which being in the military happens a lot, and that is one thing that I love about James as an author-short paragraphs). But it is a book geared towards the tween era and I have to wonder what age the people writing the "bad" reviews are. Is it up to par with his adult novels, absolutely not, but it is a sweet story that is great if you are looking for a simple escape. A word to all of the people who claim to be dissapointed, DON'T READ A BOOK FROM THE YOUNG ADULT SECTION AND EXPECT SOMETHING WITH THE COMPLEXITY OF PRIDE AND PREJUDICE.

Book Review: Careless or greedy?
Summary: 1 Stars

Is Patterson getting careless picking ghost writers or just getting greedy?
I found this book in a vacation house I rented. It looked to be unread. It still looks that way. After reading three pages I skipped to the middle, read another couple of pages, didn't try the end. Did Patterson even bother reading this before sending it to the publisher? Where was his editor? I used to enjoy his books however, since he joined the "factory" method of pumping out books for the buck, I'll no longer give him my time or my money.

Book Review: Not what I expected
Summary: 2 Stars

I had no idea what I was ordering, other than it was by James Patterson. After I got the book, I wished I would have taken the time to look into what was on the inside of it. I did not expect Aliens! I did not like the book, although I did read all of it, only hoping that the story line would liven up a bit. It didn't. Sorry Mr Patterson, not one of your best stories.

Book Review: I forced myself to read
Summary: 1 Stars

I simply couldn't get hooked to this book and literally I had to force myself to read up to Chapter 60 but I just couldn't bear it anymore. The twists and turns of the story really didn't make much sense and lacked the clarity and clean style of other science fiction authors I've read. I really regret I spent my money in this story. I would not recommend it.
