Book Reviews of The Dark Tower Boxed Set (Books 1-4)Book Review: Past, Present, Future & Back Summary: 5 Stars
I know many people who read and love this series. It starts in a futuristic setting, that seams more reminiscent of our 1800's. Yet it ties in other worlds, familiar names and places, as well as haunting possibilities.
I dare say, it is impossible to read book one and not follow up with book 2 through 7. Get it and enjoy your journey.

Book Review: great story, small books Summary: 4 Stars
Title pretty much says it all. The story is fantastic, Roland is a great main character. The Dark Tower series gets a full 5 stars no questions asked.
The only thing is, if you plan on reading 2000+ pages of a given story line, do you really want it to be on such small pages. I had a larger version of the gunslinger and then received this box set as a gift to myself and switching to the small pages with small print was an adjustment. OK for a 300 page novel, but a struggle for a 7 volume epic.
Book Review: Indulge yourself in all 7 books. Amazing. Summary: 5 Stars
To keep this brief, this is among the most epic and well-written work ever. Every page of Mr. Kings leaves you wanting more. Now imagine several thousand pages of the most twisting and engaging story you've ever read. Better than Tolkien. As good as Fennimore Cooper. You must own and read these books. The first one starts a little slow, but by the third book you can't imagine putting them down. Amazing ending too...don't spoil it. You won't regret this purchase.
Book Review: Forget books 5, 6, and 7. These are the real Dark Tower novels. Summary: 5 Stars
Man, these four novels are great! Stephen king did an excellent job on the first 4 entries in The Dark Tower series. But I would advise you to stop here and avoid the last three books and do not read them, because they are crap and they suck. Again, I say that you'll really like these four books. They have great depth in their storytelling. But, you will have to draw your own conclusions for what happens next after part 4. this set is highly recommended.
Book Review: The best series ever Summary: 5 Stars
No one has ever written anything like this, nor will. This is a perfect series with a ending you hate to lovee and love to hate it was a part of my childhood and growing up. I reccomend this to any person who likes a good book and to people who are just starting off. I will hand these books down to my children when they are old enough. Thanks stephen king for all the good months reading and the bad years waiting on the next edition of the dark tower.
