Book Review: Great read.

Been a King fan since High school, love the dark tower series. As a writer myself, King has always been able to grab u from the start of the book. I read the first book 2 the series n high school and up until 2008 I never got 2 read the rest. Even after owning them all, I just can't get myself to read the last book. I just don't want it 2 end.Book Review: 5.0 stars

I figure this would be easier to "rate" than each individual book. This series will go down in history as one of the classics! It's the best series that I've ever read and I'm not just saying that. I feel honored that I get to read King's work and get into his head. This was the set that really sold me on Stephen King. I started with Cujo, but The Dark Tower series was more than enough--even as a teen--to keep my interest; I couldn't put it down. I lost my color animated soft-back copy, but now I have these to keep me busy once again. The first two of the series are my "hands-down" favorites.Book Review: King goes for broke

I won't say this is King's best work, but it certainly is his most imaginative. Reminds me of an epic, violent fable. Gets a little boring in the middle (#3 I thought was a little boring), but the ending more than makes up for anything you could have expected. This was an amazing series that has something for everyone, if your into westerns, horror, science fiction, or fantasy then you will absolutely love these books. I was enthralled by it all and read them all within a few months. I would also suggest "The Stand", "Hearts in Atlantis", "The Green Mile", and many other King books.
